Shinjiroh Inoue Blog Update [090210]

We can now open the information.

Tohoshinki’s new song “With All My Heart　～君が踊る、夏～“　which I’ve written the lyrics, composed, and arranged, will be the theme song for the movie “～君が踊る、夏～”to be released in September. This song is recorded in the BEST SELECTION 2010, which will be released on the 17th this month.

When I was requested of the song, I first thought of all the Tohoshinki fans loving my songs, which I came to know through pigg (T/N: you can create a virtual self in pigg and play in the amelbo world, which his blog belongs to), and all of the fans beyond them.

I would like to give hope to all the fans who are worrying about the contract issues.

The fans’ feelings should be the same as the theme of the movie. I have been thinking like this as I made the love song.

The movie side said “Oh, this is the right one!”, gave out their official go-ahead, and the song was decided as the theme song.

I would be delighted if this song will represent the fans’ feelings, and will also be delighted if the members are thinking the same.

And, moreover, I would be delighted if the movie released in September will create the opportunity for their activities to continue.

It is only a short period until the release of “BEST SELECTION 2010”!

I am also looking forward to the release.

HMV TVXQ Awareness Survey [090210]

TVXQ Awareness Survey given to around 3800 HMV users. TVXQ’ charm divided between “Teamwork (36.9%)” and “Vocal talent (34.1%)”! 48% of fans spend 2~3 hours on TVXQ-related activities every day! The most times one fan visited Korea was 40!

TVXQ will be releasing their first best album “BEST SELECTION 2010″ on February 17th. To commemorate the release, HMV Japan Corporation used HMV ONLINE （http://www.hmv.co.jp） and HMV MOBILE (http://m. hmv.co.jp) to ask approximately 3800 HMV users on their awareness of TVXQ with a “TVXQ Awareness Survey“（http://www.hmv.co.jp/pr/tohofan/).

Super group TVXQ debuted in Japan in 2005 and became top artistes there. 98% of the survey takers were women, so the results were heavily biased towards females. However, the age of the survey takers ranged from those in their teens to those in their fifties, proving that TVXQ had a fandom that crossed over generations. It was voted that TVXQ’s biggest charms that sucked in fans was “Teamwork” (36.9%) and “Vocal talent” (34.1%). “Good looks” only made up 1.3% of all the answers.

The main method in which people found out about TVXQ was “TV” (60.0%); other answers included “Through their CM songs”, “Through their drama opening songs” and “Because Sekine Tsutomu recommended them”. Regarding time spent on TVXQ-related activities, the majority said they spent 2~3 hours every day on such activities (48.4%). However, 5.1% stated that they spent at least 10 hours on TVXQ related activities every day. A large portion of the survey takers replied that they found out about TVXQ “Online” (38.4%); other answers included “TV”, “Magazines” or “From a friend or someone I know” which showed that ‘word of mouth’ was quite effective for TVXQ.

Also, the majority of the fans were deeply interested in Korea with one fan visiting Korea 40 times. 76.3% of survey takers were interested in K-POP other than TVXQ. According to data from HMV Japan, many people who buy TVXQ related goods also buy goods by (in order of quantity) Shinhwa, Big Bang and Arashi. This was backed up in the survey when many said that they also liked Big Bang (15.5%), Super Junior, SS501, SHINee and other K-POP idol groups as well as Japanese artistes such as EXILE and Arashi.

For the question “What is something you cannot live without, almost as much as TVXQ?” in the free response section, many showed interest in music (24.0%) with answers like “iPod”, “K-POP”, “Live” while others showed their interest in Korean culture other than K-POP with replies such as “Korean” and “Korean food”. It may be because of the fact that the information exchange between family and friends has improved, but some fans were seen writing “Family” and “Friends” as well.

TVXQ’s Movie Theme Song for Summer 2010! [080210]

Charismata (*TVXQ) enliven a pure youth group drama with their exquisite harmony. It became clear on the 8th that TVXQ will be in charge of a theme song of the movie “Kimiga Odoru Natsu”, (*Meaning,”Summer Dancing You”), a lead actor will be Junpei Yokomizo (20). The title music is “Ｗｉｔｈ　Ａｌｌ　Ｍｙ　Ｈｅａｒｔ～君が踊る、夏”, which is recorded in TVXQ’s new best album “BEST SELECTION 2010″ that will be released in Japan on February 17th, 2010. This gem song with the piano ballad will heap up an impressive product of this film which portraits the maturing period of youths.

The festival featured in the movie has thick pastime that gives poetic charm, portrayed in the summer of Kochi (prefecture in Japan) as the stage. It is a story the young man of the lead character struggles with a fighting spirit with their friend; for a girl living toward the dream to dance at a festival while having an intractable disease.

The movie producer Shun Arikawa who is a great fan of TVXQ from their debut in Japan in 2005, sent them a love call last November to seek them, “To sing the wonderful theme song which matches in a story of the dream that youths lost and the broken friendship to be regenerated.”

Arikawa said that he thought, “Only TVXQ who continue to charm an Asian youths are able to stream down courage and hope through their song and dance!“; from the very beginning when he decided to film this movie after observing a Yosakoi festival for the first time.

The offer was sent when three members were opposed over a contract dispute issue with their office in Korea and when media was paying attention toward their future activities. In addition, it was the time when it was very busy for them with TV program collecting of the end of the year programs in those days. However, the five members were touched by enthusiasm of Arikawa and willingly consented to his offer.

In the past, they experienced movie theme song of the animated cartoon in Japan; but, as for Japanese movie (the photograph taken on a spot), it is their first experience. Therefore their representative production of the piece was asked to be written by Shinjiro Inoue who has good reputation by writing TVXQ’s famous ballad musical piece “Stand by U”. (*Inoue Won two Japan Record Taisyo Award by TVXQ songs and he is also a huge fan of TVXQ! ^^)

It is a piano ballad song which five members love to sing. The recording was performed in a studio of Tokyo in the beginning of December, last year. At the recording session, they hit a hot feeling and sang it emotionally without compromising at all. The ballad song which overflows in passion and an impression to color the youth movie was completed.

Arikawa said that when he first heard the sound source, it was really good and he even said, “This is it! This song matches the movie perfectly!” He was moved very much and decided to use the music as an insertion song as well as a theme song. It is also collected in TVXQ’s first best album “BEST SELECTION 2010″ that will be released on February 17th, 2010.

It seems to place a one good stone (step) for their contract issue that their movie theme song will be open in Japan in September, 2010. Their Japanese position office, AVEX announced, “About their future activities, we will announce when it is officially set.” It seems we will be able to expect further activiteis of TVXQ all the more.
